It is very important to choose the right size collar for your pup to strut in. We offer a variety of size choices to help ensure a good fit for your new biothane collar. Below are a couple ways to measure if you are not sure of your pets neck size.

• Using a soft tape measure: Wrap around your pets neck where the collar will sit. You'll want to allow enough room for two fingers to fit between their neck and collar. 

​

• Masking tape: If you do not have a soft tape measure handy you can measure with masking tape or something similar. Take a long strip of masking tape and fold it horizontally on itself to eliminate the sticky side. Then wrap around your dogs neck and mark where the tape comes together (remember the two finger rule)  Finally, you can measure the mark you made on the tape to get the neck size.

• Puppies:  They grow like weeds! When measuring for your pup we recommend choosing a size closest to the first hole to give them some growing room. Example: If your pup measures a 13" neck, choose the size medium 12"-16". 

​

• If your pet measures on the end of a size like 12" we recommend going to the next size up to ensure comfort and  wiggle room.
